Off-road vehicles can handle some pretty impressive wear and tear. However, sooner or later your ATV will need a replacement part or two to keep it running on even the roughest and toughest terrain. For tips on how to choose the right parts and equipment for your ATV, we recommend reading through our helpful guide below.

OEM vs After-Market

When shopping for ATV parts, you’ll have your choice of OEM and after-market options. While after-market parts are great for buyers on a budget, they’re not always made with the highest-quality materials or manufacturing processes. If you’re looking for a part that you expect to last for at least a year or more, we encourage you to go with an OEM component instead. Just be sure that the part you choose matches the make and model of your ATV.

Stocking Up

Most buyers don’t think to purchase parts for their ATVs until their models are already beginning to act up. However, having a few basic parts on hand at all times will not allow for a quick fix, but keep your model from deteriorating if an important component falls to pieces. If you’re looking to stock up on important ATV equipment, we recommend purchasing a set of LED lightbulbs in case a bulb burns out, some spark plugs, and at least one spare tire. If you’re the one completing regular oil changes and brake checks for your ATV, we also recommend purchasing several oil filters and brake pads to last you for the next year or so.
